Traditional Refresh
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our firm was lucky enough to be brought in on this endeavour with our client as we were in full swing on her Berkshires home. This primary residence in New Jersey needed to retain its historic charm as we gave it a refresh. Artwork took center stage and we built our designs around some of the pieces the client shared with us. The floors throughout were taken to a deep walnut stain, the kitchen and master bath fully gutted. The heavy, dated cabinetry and tile in the master bath was replaced with light, feminine finishes. The kitchen while petite was given ample storage and an integrated work desk for added function. The home was fully furnished by our team, mixing traditional pieces with some eclectic touches, all with comfort and family in mind. Custom window treatments compliment each space and give a soft layered effect with a touch of whimsy. A full basement play space and craft room were added for her youngest daughter and friends, with room to grow into. This home balances soothing wood tones the client loved with pops of color for her young family, giving it new life.
